Iman
Iman was born on July 25, 1955, in Mogadishu, Somalia. A student at the University of Nairobi, she was discovered by photographer Peter Beard. Through the 1970s and 1980s, Iman was a favorite model in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

Claudia was  was spotted in a nightclub in Düsseldorf. germany by Michel Levaton, the boss of Metropolitan Model Agency who signed her up to become a model. Her big break came shortly after this at a beach resort, where a chance meeting with Patrick Lafontaine with connections in the industry, saw her connected with the Elite Model Agency, where her success started.

She was discovered eating a McDonald’s in a  shopping centre in Sao Paulo, Brazil while on a school excursion. She was subsequently selected for a national contest, Elite Look of the Year.
