Jessica Marie Reger, 29, of Hanover, York County Pennsylvania is behind bars after police stopped her and a search of the red corvette she was sitting in revealed two children in it’s trunk.
Arraigned on child endanderment charges, the court papers say she stuffed her 3 and 5-year-old children into the trunk of a Corvette drivien by her friend, Ilena Blackburn.
The mother of two who has a long rap sheet with at least one stint in prison, faces two misdemeanors for endangering the welfare of a child and two for recklessly endangering another person, according to court records.

Witnesses saw Reger place her children in the trunk of her friend’s red Corvette on the evening of July 10. Reger and the driver of the sports car, Ilena Gale Blackburn, 28, were pulled over a few blocks down the street where police found the children stuffed into the trunk, police said.
Two Hanover women are accused of placing two young children in the trunk of their Corvette while they sat in the front.
The charges read that At about 8:40 p.m. on July 10, Reger was seen placing two children in the trunk of a red Corvette in the 200 block of Second Avenue. Reger and the driver of the car, Blackburn, left and drove east on West Middle Street, where they were pulled over. The officer asked Blackburn to open the trunk, where Reger’s two children, ages 3 and 5, were found.

Blackburn faces recklessly endangering another person and improper child-restraint system charges, according to online court records. Blackburn’s arraignment is scheduled for July 22.
Reger is charged with two counts each of endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person. She remains in York County Prison in lieu of $2,500 bail.
It is unclear if the children were harmed or who has custody of them while their mother is in jail.
