The spa manager called in some friends for reinforcements. At about 5:45 p.m. on August 2, when the Lebron returned, at least one of those friends opened fire inside the salon. Police said he was hit several times in the chest and neck. Emergency personnel rushed him to the nearby St. Barnabas Hospital, but he couldn’t be saved.
“He was unarmed. He couldn’t defend himself,” Ventura said. “He was a good man trying to do a friend a favor.” Cops started a search for tGuillen who had fled the scene with another man in a gray Honda sedan, sources said.
